Day 1, Athens

You will be met and transferred to a selected hotel . Enjoy a 'welcome' dinner in a traditional Greek tavern in the old part of Athens, in Plaka. (D,O)

Day 2, Athens

After breakfast, half-day Athens Sightseeing Tour. V isit the immortal Acropolis, with each architectural masterp iece, the Parthenon, the Erectheum with the Porch of the Me- idens, and the Temple of Nike Apertos, Wingless Vict ory. Below the Acropolis lie the Ancient Agora and the T heaters of Dionyssos and Herodus Atticus.Afternoon free. Afternoon free. (B,D,O )

Day 3, Athens – Delphi – Kalambaka

Depart for Delphi and visit the Temple of Apollo. Al so see the Sacred Way, the Stadium, the Castilian Fountain and the Archaeological Museum. Continue to Kalambaka. (B,D,O

Day 4, Kalambaka – Ohrid

After breakfast, climb to the top of the Meteora, k nown as 'The rocks that fell from the sky', where monks bui lt their havens away from civilization. Continue to Ohrid. (B,D,O

Day 5, Ohrid – Tirana

Morning sightseeing tour at the lakeside resort of Ohrid, containing some magnificent frescoes from the 10th centu- ry including a visit to the Cathedral of St. Sofia. In the early afternoon, we continue towards Tirana, capital of A lbania. (B,D,O)

Day 6, Tirana

Morning sightseeing tour: see the Sheshi Skenderbej , the Palace of Culture and the mosaic on the facade of t he National History Museum. Other significant buildings here include the imposing red-brick National Bank , the E them Bey Mosque, and the Skanderbeg Statue. Afternoon fr ee. (B,D,O)

Day 7, Tirana – Dubrovnik

After breakfast, depart for Shkodra, nowdays a majo r cultural centre. We visit Rozafa Castle, situated on a rocky outcrop of limestone high above the city, before we cr oss the border into Montenegro and drive via Budva to Dubro vnik. (B,D,O)

Day 8, Dubrovnik

Morning walking tour of Old Dubrovnik: the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower clock , Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Pa lace. You will also see the Dominican monastery and Franc iscan monastery with its pharmacy. The rest of the day is free. (B,D,O)

Day 9, Dubrovnik

Full day at leisure. (B,D,O)

Day 10, Dubrovnik – Split

Departure north to Split along the spectacular Adri atic coast. Enjoy a city tour, featuring the historic in ner city built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNE SCO World Cultural Heritage site. (B,D,O)

Day 11, Split – Trogir – Plitvice

After breakfast, we head north along the coast to T rogir. Our journey continues as we turn inland towards the Pli tvice Lakes National Park. Upon arrival, we take a walkin g tour around several of the lower lakes and enjoy the bre athtak- ing scenery of this natural wonder. (B,D,O

Day 12, Plitvice – Postojna – Bled

We return to the coast to the beautiful bay of Kvar ner and its popular resort, Opatija. Then we head north to Postojna and one of the biggest caves in Europe. Here we tou r the fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterwards, our journey continues to Bled. (B,D,O)

Day 13, Bled

Our morning sightseeing tour features the town of Bled, with the lake-shore, and includes a visit to Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The rest of the day is free for optional activities, such as visiting the old church with a collection of religious art on the small island in the middle of the Lake Bled. (B,D,O)

Day 14, Bled – Ljubljana – Zagreb

We start the day with the tour of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, where we will visit all the most signific ant sights in the old city centre: the open-air Central Market , Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall and Robba's Fountain. Then proceed to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. (B,D,O)

Day 15, Zagreb

This morning enjoy Zagreb, where we visit St. Mark’ s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. Rest of the day is free to explore the winding streets of the old town. Afterwards, transfer to Zagreb airport. (B)
