Morning sightseeing tour at the lakeside resort of Ohrid, containing some magnificent frescoes from the 10th centu- ry including a visit to the Cathedral of St. Sofia. In the early afternoon, we continue towards Tirana, capital of A lbania. (B,D,O)

After breakfast, depart for Shkodra, nowdays a majo r cultural centre. We visit Rozafa Castle, situated on a rocky outcrop of limestone high above the city, before we cr oss the border into Montenegro and drive via Budva to Dubro vnik. (B,D,O)

Departure north to Split along the spectacular Adri atic coast. Enjoy a city tour, featuring the historic in ner city built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNE SCO World Cultural Heritage site. (B,D,O)
After breakfast, we head north along the coast to T rogir. Our journey continues as we turn inland towards the Pli tvice Lakes National Park. Upon arrival, we take a walkin g tour around several of the lower lakes and enjoy the bre athtak- ing scenery of this natural wonder. (B,D,O
We return to the coast to the beautiful bay of Kvar ner and its popular resort, Opatija. Then we head north to Postojna and one of the biggest caves in Europe. Here we tou r the fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterwards, our journey continues to Bled. (B,D,O)
Our morning sightseeing tour features the town of Bled, with the lake-shore, and includes a visit to Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The rest of the day is free for optional activities, such as visiting the old church with a collection of religious art on the small island in the middle of the Lake Bled. (B,D,O)
