City Description
Zagreb - Capital of Republic of Croatia, cultural, political, industrial and business center. Its history dates back to 1094 and became the Croatian capital in 1557. Today it is a very popular tourist center. Upper Town is one of the best-maintained medieval cities in Europe with museums, galleries, monuments, antique and souvenir shops. Lower Town with its beautiful parks will make your visit worthwhile.
On your arrival to Zagreb you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to get to know the capital city of Croatia.
A morning private walking tour will take us to "Upper Town" to see the Cathedral of Mary's Assumption and Gothic Church of St. Mark, and "Lower Town" featuring the main square of Jelacic. The rest of the day is at leisure.
